PEOPLE, CULTURE & ORGANIZATION CHIEF

In partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, the People, Culture and Organization (PCO) Chief, warrants organizational-wide alignment, cohesion and impact in the planning and implementation of organizational priorities. As the top people strategist of Save the Children Philippines (SCP), s/he manages the human capital of SCP, leading it into the intentional development and sustaining of a healthy and coherent organizational culture that aligns with SCP’s core values and strategic directions. The work shall be guided by SCP’s goals, systems and procedures and envisaged breakthroughs for children.

Focusing on strategy and leadership, the Chief of People, Culture and Organization is responsible for strengthening organizational capability and efficiency needed to deliver Save the Children Philippines’ Strategy and accompanying plans related to program; advocacy, campaign, communications and media; fundraising and business development, by effectively leading and managing the following key support functions:

• Human Resources Management
• Legal Compliance and Governance; inclusive of Corporate Secretary functions
• Safeguarding
• Information Communications and Technology (ICT)
• Office Administration
• Supply Chain

Incumbent should provide day-to-day and strategic leadership of the aforementioned support functions, ensuring that clear plans are in place that will strengthen effectiveness and efficiency in these areas. As the head of Business Support, s/he is accountable for ensuring that SCP lives the values of the organization and aligns with the children’s rights, diversity, equity and inclusion and humanitarian principles, and applies these in their daily work.
