My client, a specialist Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling, is searching for a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join a supportive Team based in Brighton.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline (including a HNC, FdSc, BSc and/or MSc in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Civil or Environmental Engineering) and a keen interest in Flood Risk and Contaminated Land.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments and GIS Mapping.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally or prepared to move to the local area.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to join an innovative Consultancy based in the heart of Brighton. As a Graduate Environmental Consultant you will have the opportunity to complete Pre-planning Projects for Residential Developments for Private Sector Clients, Private Developers, Insurance Companies and Local Authorities.

You will also be trained to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS, Data Analysis, Desktop Studies and Phase 1 Contaminated Land Assessments.
