Peer Recovery Supporter Job Description:
The Peer Recovery Supporter will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals on medication-assisted treatment, to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Peer Recovery Supporter must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships. They will be responsible for clinic coverage on a regular basis, including assisting with clinical services, UDS screens, and case management as necessary.
Peer Recovery Supporter Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Certified Peer Recovery Supporter in the State of Ohio is required within six months of employment
- CDCA is preferred
