Job Description

The Senior Payroll Officer key responsibilities will be:

  • Process monthly payroll start to finish for 650+ employees
  • Processing starters, leavers and calculating holiday pay.
  • Calculating the payroll
  • Running the payslips
  • Knowledge of PAYE/NI/other payroll deductions
  • Processing of P45’s, P60’s
  • RTI submissions
  • Pension administration to Peoples Pension
  • Auto-enrolment duties
  • Dealing with client payroll queries via phone/email.
  • SAGE payroll – advantageous.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Payroll Administrator MUST Have

  • Solid payroll background to work independently
  • SAGE Payroll – advantageous not essential can be trained
  • Knowledge of PAYE/NI
  • Ability to work independent as well as part of a team
  • Able to work remotely during pandemic
  • RTI knowledge
  • Computer skills including; Excel, Outlook
