Job Description
The Senior Payroll Officer key responsibilities will be:
- Process monthly payroll start to finish for 650+ employees
- Processing starters, leavers and calculating holiday pay.
- Calculating the payroll
- Running the payslips
- Knowledge of PAYE/NI/other payroll deductions
- Processing of P45’s, P60’s
- RTI submissions
- Pension administration to Peoples Pension
- Auto-enrolment duties
- Dealing with client payroll queries via phone/email.
- SAGE payroll – advantageous.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Payroll Administrator MUST Have
- Solid payroll background to work independently
- SAGE Payroll – advantageous not essential can be trained
- Knowledge of PAYE/NI
- Ability to work independent as well as part of a team
- Able to work remotely during pandemic
- RTI knowledge
- Computer skills including; Excel, Outlook
