In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Drive technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplifications, op. excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis related to payroll for different entities
  • Preparatory and closing activities in Compensation & Benefit area
  • Lead reviews of closing checklist to ensure all close related issues have been resolved
  • Review and control & monitor reconciliation process at monthly / quarterly closing cycles
  • Interpret, explain and influence on complex accounting principles and commercial business impact
  • Prepare and record properly supported routine entries
  • Ensure transactions are booked in the right period through understanding of global closing calendars
  • Perform activities required for month-end closing (preparing and postin MJE, running report)
  • Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliation according to INNIO Policies and follow-up on open items
  • Perform cross charges according to INNIO Policies
  • Provide ad hoc reports to HQ, local controllership team and other finance functions
  • Provide timely and appropriate financial data and supporting documentation to internal auditing
  • Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive accounting
  • Act as a contact person of external payroll provider

Your profile:

  • Completed studies with a focus on Finance & Accounting
  • 2-3 years previous accounting experience, preferably in an SSC environment
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken), good command of German is an advantage
  • Ability to learn/ understand standards & processes quickly, and with a flexible approach
  • Preciseness with a good eye for detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
  • First-hand closing experience with Oracle, SAP or another ERP systems is a plus
