Purpose & Scope of role

Purpose:

  • As a member of the Payment Referrals section of Local Operations to contribute to the accurate and timely completion of all daily tasks to enable the efficient delivery of high quality operational service in line with industry standards and in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. To support process improvement initiatives and implement them as agreed in order to streamline activities and support planned internal and external client satisfaction standards

Scope of role:

  • UK CIB and Group Functions + All UK Group Entities for shared services

Key Responsibilities Of Role

  • To understand and process all payment types using Swift, Chaps and in house systems.
  • Amend Palm Payments
  • Validation of payments
  • OMR Corporate deal maintenance – validation
  • input and validation of payments in Plasma
  • Batch input and release
  • Preparation of month end statistics
  • Monitoring and facilitation of all referrals raised by Lisbon Hub to the respective decision maker
  • Familiarity with CAT and CAMPS, new systems used for the workflow of referrals.
  • Minimising operational failure, including but not exclusively, the risk of fraud, by helping to devise, and by implementing,
  • Sufficient regular controls. Ensuring appropriate escalation to management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as
  • Appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified. Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
