Job Description We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamicFinance professionals who pride themselves on their ability todeliver extraordinary levels of customer service and providecreative solutions to our guests. This is a positionwhere you will be handling both the role of General Cashier andPaymaster. As a Paymaster you areresponsible to prepare payroll reconciliation and verify andprocess leave applications, vacation travel, change of status ofemployees, cash advance requests, etc., whereby your role willinclude key responsibilities such as: Import the previous day’s employee swiping card data fromthe swiping terminal time and attendance system Followup with respective departments if any employee has not completedthe swiping cycle Update, run close day operation,print and file daily time sheets Verify overtimerequisitions with time sheets, forward the same for approvals,distribute copy and process approved overtime requisitions in thepayroll system Calculate final settlement of employeeleaving the employment, forward the final separation forms approvalto the Accounts Payable upon approval Issue temporarytime cards to new employees, and coordinate with the HumanResources Department for their permanent time cards and keep alogbook for the temporary cards Coordinate with theHuman Resources Department on the opening of bank accounts for newemployees As a General Cashier you will be responsiblefor: Collect the daily deposit inpresence of witness from the Hotel safe in accordance with HotelStandards Deposit the daily collection in thedesignated bank while accompanied by Hotel security in accordancewith Hotel Standards Prepare the GeneralCashier Daily Report in a timely mannerFunction as custodian of petty cash fund and administerpetty cash disbursements to Employees in accordance with HotelPolicies. Ensure that the fund is counted and reconciled at the endof the day Maintain adequate currency changeand provide change to Hotel cashiers as required Skills Education, Qualifications &Experiences You should havea degree in hotel management or accounting and at least one yearprevious experiences within a hotel environment. Excellent verbaland written English communication skills and computer literacy is amust, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is anasset. Knowledge &Competencies The idealcandidate will be results oriented and a self motivator along witha positive attitude. You have the ability to think laterally andanalytical, display a high level of integrity and have the abilityto identify, impact and influence others.
