Patient Access Representative Job Description:
We are looking for a Patient Access Representative to join our Mount Gilead, Ohio team! The Patient Access Representative will be responsible to conduct clinical and administrative activities related to admissions, conferring with internal and external contacts to maintain maximum capacity. Determines admissibility, financial responsibility and availability. Prepare records and other required data. The Patient Access Representative will participate in collection of data regarding phone calls, radio calls, screenings, and referrals for purposes of quality improvement, program evaluation, and other reporting requirements. Completes all necessary case management activities to assist in the admission of the client to a program.
Patient Access Representative Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting is preferred
