Apprenticeship type: Level 3 Customer Service Specialist – 15 months course.

Salary: £15,000 per year

(Move up to national living wage- for the remaining 3 months of the apprenticeship in the 2nd year)

After successful completion of the course, you would move onto a parts advisor salary + monthly

sales bonus.

Start dates: Summer 2022

Location: Wakefield.

Hours: Full time – Mon – Fri / 40 hours per week

As an Alliance Automotive Apprentice, you will train for a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship which is delivered over the course of 15 months.

Each apprentice will be expected to complete self-study tasks during the programme. Development Coaches will deliver 1-2-1 and group sessions with ongoing guided support throughout the programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s willing to learn and wants to advance their career. You should have enthusiasm and be able to take instructions and advice from your mentor in a workplace environment.

Day-to-day Duties Within Branch

  • Building relationships with our trade customers

Taking enquiries/orders over the telephone, identifying products using various industry standard systems/ electronic catalogues and dealing with queries.

  • Serving customers at out trade counter

Taking enquiries/orders, identifying products using various industry standard systems/ electronic catalogues and dealing with queries.

  • Processing customer orders and returns

Booking parts to customer accounts, assigning deliveries to drivers/delivery routes and raising credits for returned parts.

  • Limited warehouse duties

Checking in orders, booking orders on the system, putting parts away into stock, supplier returns and assisting with dispatching delivery vans.

Progression route

  • You will be offered a Parts Advisor position subject to completion of the course and work performance. As a Parts Advisor you will be on a competitive salary along with other benefits

To Be Eligible For This Apprenticeship, You Must

  • Ideally have Maths and English GCSEs or Standard (Scotland) at 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent
  • Apprentices without GCSES or equivalent will need to achieve Level 2 English and Maths prior to taking the End Point Assessment.
  • Not already hold an L3 or higher qualification in customer service
  • Be legally allowed to work in the UK
  • Have lived in the UK, Ireland, or the European Economic Area (EEA), for at least three years before the start of the apprenticeship. Or have either pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme and lived in the UK, EEA or Gibraltar for at least three years
