As a Partnerships Officer (Enrichment), you will be at the heart of the DofE’s five-year strategy, Youth Without Limits. You will be helping to ensure that young people in Education Investment Areas (EIAs) in and near to Manchester and Liverpool, the North-East or the East of England, have access to meaningful enrichment opportunities by supporting Coordinating Organisations such as Multi-Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, Community Voluntary Organisations and Colleges to deliver on their pilots.

You will be part of the England Operations team, where you will be working closely with country colleagues and line managed by an Operations Manager while reporting to the EPP Partnerships Manager on pilot progress in your geographical hub.

The EPP seeks to test whether greater coordination locally can enhance school enrichment offers and remove barriers to participation for young people, create resource and funding efficiencies, and unlock existing funding and provision.

Your role will be key to understanding need, providing tailored support to local Coordinating Organisations to help enable them to establish their pilots successfully and, working with the Partnerships Manager, sharing best practice in Manchester and Liverpool, the North-East or the East of England.

You will be matrix managed by a Partnerships Manager (Enrichment) in the UK Strategic Partnerships team who will be working closely with our partner, the National Citizenship Service Trust to deliver the project at a national level.

What will you get in return?

The opportunity to work for a successful and dynamic charity that has the development of young people at its heart and the wellbeing and development of its people constantly in focus.

You will be joining a team of empowered colleagues working together.
