Müslüman Eller Derneği (Muslim Hands Turkey) is a relief and development non-government organization established in 2019. In partnership with Muslim Hands International, a group with 27 members around the globe and the experience of more than 29 years, Müslüman Eller Derneği strives to work for the betterment of humanity regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender. Müslüman Eller Derneği aims to mobilize resources and provide a platform to International NGOs and donors, by engaging trustworthy Turkish organizations at both local and governmental level, focusing on the intervention areas of Education, WASH, Health, Emergency, Food Security and Livelihood. Our objective is an impartial, efficient, and wholly transparent process that ensures that donations and aid reach the marginalized groups and people that really need them.

Job Title: Partnerships Manager

Job Description:

Muslim Hands Turkey office is seeking a Partnerships Manager to develop and manage strategic partnerships in Turkey. The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and private sector partners. This role will report to the Country Director and Head of Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a partnership strategy to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and private sector partners.
  • Manage and develop partnerships, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration with partners.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of joint initiatives and programs with partners.
  • Manage donor relationships, including proposal development, reporting, and compliance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and joint initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
  • Acting as a point of contact enquiries, assessing, and responding to immediate short-term fundraising opportunities as they arise while providing best practice donor care experience.
  • Support the development and implementation of advocacy initiatives to promote the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and coordination of program activities.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and sharing of fundraising activities to partners and potential supporters and participate in specific events if needed.
  • Work with HIPD team for the progress and feedback reports on MHT overseas activities
  • Facilitation for partnership strategies and priorities, and resource mobilization to secure funding for MH projects around the globe.
  • Organize Concept Notes/Proposals and share with the partner organizations.
  • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new partnerships.
  • Makes recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, viability of partners, and internal operational process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Turkish National
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international relations, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in partnership management, preferably in an NGO or international development context.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of donor regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Turkey as needed.
