This Department Has Created Incredible Programmes And Collaborations, Including

  • World-class social impact programmes with events such as the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, Rugby League World Cup 2021, and World Gymnastics Championships.
  • Creating a learning disability version of Rugby League’s Super League and delivering innovative collaborations with major sporting brands.
  • Developing education and resources that bring the benefits of nature into social care, inspired by Sir David Attenborough’s Wild Isles series.
  • Delivering innovative programmes that respond to societal issues such as digital exclusion, inaccessibility and hate crime.
  • Creating www.What-To-Do.co.uk – A unique website that gives people free accessible online experiences, from dance classes with the stars of Strictly Come Dancing to meet and greets with Premier League winners!
  • Designing a range of clubs and initiatives that bring arts, culture, and creativity into care.

About The Role

Our Partnerships and Community Projects Delivery Manager will play an important role in managing and overseeing a range of innovative programmes and relationships.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can

  • Manage the delivery and growth of a portfolio of projects and programmes: From national campaigns and creating educational resources to facilitating local community groups and working with celebrities, our work is creative and varied. You will be comfortable working across a range of issues and themes, and implementing many different forms of projects.

We want someone who can implement purposeful projects that achieve a real impact and have clearly articulated outcomes.

  • Support strong partnerships and relationships.

Community Integrated Care works with exceptional brands and organisations, and many esteemed public figures – from football stars to leading TV personalities. These collaborations give the people we support vital new opportunities and create life-changing moments.

You will be skilled at managing partner relationships and identifying new opportunities for learning and collaboration.

We are looking for someone who can work with independence and lead a team across a diverse range of themes.

As well as line managing a brilliant team, you will also have great colleagues to collaborate with in support of this work; this includes our Senior Partnerships and Community Development Manager – whose role is to create and design our projects, our departmental leads for income generation and project management, and our Director of Partnerships and Communities. You will also regularly collaborate with other teams within our charity.

Our Ideal Candidate Will

  • Be a natural at leading and managing projects – You will be able to direct and manage a diverse range of projects from beginning to end – including budget management and evaluation.
  • Be a strong leader, with good workforce planning and management skills – You will line manage a talented and diverse team, directing and supporting them to implement our projects successfully. This involves designing our project implementation plans, directing your team to deliver them to the greatest impact, and also coaching and supporting them to learn and grow.
  • Know how to deliver and direct outcome-focussed projects: We are looking for someone who can create the conditions for project success – including identifying the best ways to deliver our projects, knowing how to engage people well and generate feedback, and mobilising our team and the departments that we collaborate with. The candidate must have strong skills in delivering work with strongly articulated outcomes. These projects are delivered with and for people who access care and support, including people who have learning disabilities, and we work nationally – this means that every project needs real consideration to achieve the best results.
  • Have great communication and collaboration skills: Including persuasive writing and presentation skills, and the ability to direct the creation of a range of content formats. Have great people and collaboration skills – You must also be able to demonstrate that you are comfortable working collaboratively with other functions within our charity, with people we support and families, and with our external partners. You will build strong internal relationships and external relationships, and know how to earn trust, support and buy-in. Have strong project delivery skills – This role will blend directing a team to deliver projects well, alongside the individual also owning and leading some of their own projects and relationships. We want someone who can contribute to our projects in many ways – from directly leading an online experience with the people we support, to coordinating a project work of our partners, to creating toolkits and campaign resources. This requires a really engaging personality that can connect well with the people we support and a creative mindset.
  • Be a problem solver – You will have a keen eye for identifying how life can be made better for the people we support and our colleagues, and how we can make an even greater impact. This means having strong analytical skills and taking an active interest in finding new areas of opportunity and improvement in every project that we deliver.
  • Influencing and negotiation- You will know how to influence, persuade and negotiate, enabling you to secure buy-in and get the best results for our team.
  • Manager a budget – We pride ourselves on being a department that generates income, resources, skills, and opportunities for Community Integrated Care. Key to this is being able to deliver our projects to or under budget, and to identify new

This role supports home working. However, our team comes together at least once a week in our head office in Widnes, to support collaboration and a healthy team dynamic.
