Partnership Officer*

in Poltava

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Poltava, Ukraine.

Alliance15 members Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Concern Worldwide, and Cesvi are working together in Ukraine using their combined resources and reach, to ensure a quick and effective emergency response to assist the crisis-affected population. This response, known as JERU (Joint Emergency Response Ukraine), is working inside of Ukraine to support conflict-affected communities.

As Partnership Officer for Ukraine, your aim will be to identify, select and train partners in the area; being focal point of relationship between partners and the organization; conduct partners assessment and redact partnership agreement in both languages.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the organization in identifying, communicating with and building relationships with local partners
  • Conduct local partners assessments following the existing procedures
  • Redact the partnership agreements following the existing procedure and ensuring the internal revision and approvals are provided in time
  • Be the main point of contact between the organization and its local partners
  • Be the focal point for resolving problems/programmatic/operational and administrative issues with local stakeholders with the support of the other relevant departments (Logistics, Finance, Programme)
  • Supporting partners in the activities planning and implementation, ensuring WHH and CHS principles are applied
  • Provision of appropriate translation between international staff and partners (e.g. national non-governmental organizations) and partnership related documents
  • Attending meetings and representing JERU when required by the supervisor

Your profile

  • Relevant professional qualification/formal vocational training with additional qualifications (e.g technician, vocational college)
  • Experience in one of the following areas is an added value: finance/administration or logistics, humanitarian programs (especially cash and voucher assistance),
  • 1-3 years of job-related professional experience
  • Strong MS Teams skills
  • Willingness to travel within Ukraine
  • Fluency in Ukrainian
  • Russian and or English language skills are an asset
