Partnership and Events Intern ( 60-100%), 6-12 months

The Swiss Startup Association is the umbrella organisation for Swiss startups. We represent and connect more than 1600 Swiss startups and investors from all over Switzerland.

We are looking for a (Junior) Partnership and Events Intern to join our growing team from April 2024.

Tasks

• Customer support – you are the first point of contact for our startup members and work according to the motto “there is a solution to every problem”
• Event coordination and follow-up
• You coordinate online events independently and acquire partners and startup founders/investors as speakers for them.
• Supporting the team events- and partnership implementation
• Project management: You keep Trello up to date so that everyone can complete their tasks.
• On-site event management: You are on site at our biggest events (Big Founders Dinners, Startup Days, Startup Nights, START Summit) and maintain the exchange with the startups there.
• You help with the creation of presentations or visuals or other marketing material
• You support the social media content creation on LinkedIn

Requirements

• You have a marketing qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
• You have an affinity for technology. Ideally, you have already gained some experience with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Canva, Trello, and WordPress.
• You feel comfortable creating content for LinkedIn
• You work precisely, independently, and reliably
• You feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working on several projects at the same time
• You are fluent in English
• You are fluent in German (level C1 or equal, no proof required)
• You have a valid EU/EFTA or Swiss work permit.
