An experienced PA/administrator is required to be the first point of contact for the Executive Dean of Nottingham School of Art & Design. Alongside coordinating busy diaries and handling complex and changeable meeting scheduling, you will provide a high level, proactive and confidential PA and secretarial support service.
Excellent organisational and communication skills will be required in order to coordinate the work of the Executive Dean through liaison with a wide range of senior staff across the University. You will also liaise with various external clients and organisations within the UK and internationally, compiling itineraries and preparation of biographies and papers. To excel in this post, you must have a conscientious and positive approach to work, be solution focussed, and have the ability to respond proactively and effectively in changing situations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent team working abilities, along with having experience of using their own initiative to complete tasks. Excellent minute writing skills are essential, with attention to detail of great importance. Extensive experience of using IT systems to improve processes, together with an excellent working knowledge of MS Office is required.
