  SWEDO is a Swedish non-profit, non-political, non-religious development aid organization that was founded in 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden. Having continuously operated in the Kurdistan Region ever since, SWEDO���������s main priorities of work are construction and infrastructure activities, refugee and IDP initiatives, health, water, sanitation and hygiene, and capacity building.
Duties and Responsibilities:
������

Establish a connection with communities and mobilize community members to engage in community-based protection via Communication with Communities (CWC) & Outreach activities.
Prudently manage center budgets ensuring effective financial management adhering to budget and activities burn rate within donor regulations. While submitting accurate monthly reconciliations of the location budgets to Outreach Coordinator.
Manage locations Purchase Requests and Volunteer payments in coordination with Finance department and Logistics Officer, adhering to SWEDO Finance, logistics and Purchase protocols, policiesdures.
Identify relevant training needs for Community Outreach Volunteer���������s (COVs) and Self Governance Community Committee/Refugee Welfare Committee (SGCC/RWC) members in line with Community Based Protection, UNHCR protocols, Communications with Communities (CWC) and Outreach Priorities. Coordinate internal and external capacity building training for the Community Outreach Volunteer���������s (COVs) and Self Governance Community Committee/Refugee Welfare Committee (SGCC/RWC) members as per needs and priority.
Adequately represent SWEDO with all stakeholders at the field level, while developing and maintaining positive working relationship with: Donors, Local Authority, Partner agencies, Community Based Organizations, Community Leaders and Community members.
Identify, recruit and train Community Outreach Volunteer���������s (COVs) and Self Governance Community Committee/Refugee Welfare Committee (SGCC/RWC) members for Community Centers as per the allocated numbers, maintaining discipline at the communitdisciplinary action within SWEDO���������s personnel policies when necessary and reporting indiscipline as necessary.
In consultation with Outreach Coordinator, Outreach Assistant, Center Managers and COVs. Develop Annual, Quarterly and Monthly work plans in line with Project Partner Agreement (PPA) priorities.
Supervise Outreach & Communication with Communities (CWC) Assistant, guiding and assigning location tasks accordingly. Continuously assessing their competence, identifying their training needs as well as offering Coaching, Mentorship and training support as needed.
Responsible for Management of all Community Center assets and fixtures. Generating an accurate updated inventory list every Quarter in collaboration with Administrative Supervisor and Logistics Officer.
Design and implement plans and strategies for all Communication with Communities (CWC) & Outreach activities, considering Community Based Priorities, two-way communication system, feedback and accountability.
Collate quality weekly donor repohering to SWEDO and Donor format, submitting the same to Reporting Officer and Information Management Officer within the stipulated timeframe.
Provide conducive work environment, ensuring team spirit, nurturing positive team atmosphere and providing adequate support to Outreach Assistant, Center Managers, Community Outreach Volunteer���������s (COVs) and Self Governance Community Committee/Refugee Welfare Committee (SGCC/RWC) members and Outreach Coordinator.
Help with the Complaint Support Feedback Mechanism (CSFM) process ��������� specifically: Supporting help desks and mobile teams, working alongside the Reporting Officer and Accountability Officer and Information Management Officer to ensure sustainability in capturing data, allowing for analysis, and enabling the team to spot trends and gaps.
Closely coordinate with Person with Specific Needs (PSN) Officer in implementation of quality Outreach and CWC Activities, Assistive Device Distribution and events for persons with specific needs as per location���lan.
Conduct regular information, gathering activities in the Community through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Community Dialogues detailing: Communication and information needs, gaps in services provision, alongside pre and post monitoring of campaign, events, activities and Information Education and Communication Activities (I.E.C) materials.
Assist in undertaking thematic responsibilities that may include: community groups and asset mapping, volunteer and service mapping.
Uphold SWEDO and UNHCR���������s code of conduct, and ensure that all persons of concern are treated with dignity and respect, in accordance with humanitarian principles and human rights standards.
Conduct other duties as assigned by Outreach & Communication with Communities (CWC) Coordin Bachelor Degree in humanities and international relations or any related field;
Minimum three years��������� experience in the same position or field;
Fluency in Kurdish, English languages, Arabic is an asset;
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
Ability to handle confidential matters, meet deadlines and work under pressure;
Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for results.
