The responsibilities of a Oracle Developer :

Information System Development Specialist covers the design, development, customization, implementation, modification, and support of new or existing applications information systems within University entities and especially Student Information System and the core ERP. Functions may include analyzing functional and information systems requirements, developing application and database architecture and design, writing code, validating data acquisition and output media/formats, designing user interfaces, developing and maintaining application’s pages, interactive applications, simulations, working with users to test, debug, and troubleshoot applications, assuring software and systems quality and functionality, integrating hardware and software components, writing and maintaining program documentation, evaluating new and improved software applications and programming technologies, and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices.

Major Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Information System’s members to determine best practices to identify end-user requirements and specifications for University Solutions.
• Develop new solutions that meet and exceed the needs of the University
• Maintain University solutions and create new updates regularly to address end-user and University concerns.
• Apply the best UAT standard on all programs and solutions before the official launch.
• Ability to Troubleshoot and trace coding issues quickly and efficiently to ensure productive solutions.
• Ability to apply best security practices during solution development and with a security audit inclusion within solution codes.
• Ability to apply integration between University solutions and third-party solutions by customized codes.
• Maintain code source using best practices for source management.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
• Collect and evaluate users’ feedback to improve solution performance by implementing best tuning and optimization practices.
• Work Actively with business analysts and system analysts to seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
• Developing technical documentation to guide future solution development projects with periodic updates.
• Support the training activities for the other team members to ensure all teams are confident in the use of developed solutions.
• The ability for flowcharts and algorithms designing for the current and desired solutions.
• The Ability to develop and support all University solutions with the different technologies.
• The ability to learn new technical skills to improve development capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of SDLC with proven projects.
• Solid experience in SQL, PI/SQL to the highest complexity
• Experience with database and IDE tools
• Solid experience coding and web development in at least one of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Groovy/Grails, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/JSON, RESTful Web Services
• Demonstrated experience with data conversion and integration
