Currently we are looking for an Opportunity Manager to join our team!

The purpose of the Opportunity Manager is to deliver a high-quality buying experience for our customers by ensuring that logistics solutions are orchestrated within the organization and anchored with the accountable stakeholders.

The Opportunity Manager does this through effective project management, engaging the right stakeholders in the solution sales process and ensuring the delivery of timely and high-quality value propositions and response documentation that address the customer’s requirements in a compelling manner.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective project management of all qualified logistics solution opportunities
  • Build and manage multi-stakeholder pursuit teams
  • Effective and structured communication of opportunity progress
  • Facilitate decision making by pursuit teams and opportunity gate approvers
  • Act as custodian of response quality and speed of response, removing roadblocks when needed
  • Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders to improve opportunity pipeline and share pursuit learnings to maximize chances of success
  • Act as custodian of the solution sales process and work across functions and geographies to identify and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to the repository of value propositions, solutions and engineering best practices and cases studies
  • Active participation in the Solutions community, driving best practices and organizational learning across the geographies and verticals

  • Self-motivator with high learning agility
  • Comfortable with change and evolving priorities
  • Good understanding of end-to-end logistics concepts
  • Good understanding of Maersk commercial processes and stakeholders
  • Experience with Salesforce opportunity management processes is a plus
  • International mind-set and inclusive behaviour
  • Excellent skills in spoken and written English
  • A relevant university degree
