Overall Summary

Join Close Brothers Operations Team where you be responsible for all aspects of Operational delivery in our Stoke hub. Our ideal team member will have previous experience in delivering excellent service with excellent relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

Managing a quality underwriting process to support commercial performance whilst limiting associated risk.

Demonstrating effective time management and delegation whilst always seeking to improve best practice.

Ensuring that positive relationships are created, nurtured and maintained between the Sales and Operational teams.

Optimising the role of the Operations Performance Partner(s) to ensure consistency and efficiency within the Hub.

Leading the operations function with focus on developing skills around asset specialisms and service excellence.

Owning and managing existing funded partner accounts to ensure that the business has minimum risk exposure.

Ensuring the team operates efficiently, effectively and according to company policy, procedure and guidelines.

Owning the Hub oversight in relation to Risk and Compliance.

Delivering commercially focused results through Service Excellence.

Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for increasing productivity and developing performance through coaching, mentoring and developing your team members. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

The ability to build, develop and lead high performing teams.

Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to challenge and influence effectively.

Commercially astute.

Proven Experience Of Initialising, Developing And Improving Operational Functions

Experience of working within regulation with key knowledge of FCA requirements in areas such compliance, risk and credit.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to analyse and interpret MI at a strategic level.

Proven ability to write detailed, structured strategic plans and reports with a commercial lens.

Proven ability to drive performance improvement.

Strong organisation skills.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight timescales and maintain highquality.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

Demonstrable experience of underwriting Motor Finance applications and holding a set mandate.

Demonstrable remote management experience.

Experience of insight-led influencing and decision making
