JOB SUMMARY

As the Operations Manager for the Egypt Country Office at MedGlobal, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing operational processes to ensure the efficient delivery of healthcare services. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Egypt Country Office while also collaborating remotely with the Gaza Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, project management, and cross-cultural communication.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Leadership:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Egypt Country Office, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to organizational policies.

Remote Collaboration:

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the Gaza Team, facilitating seamless collaboration despite geographical distances.
  • Coordinate and conduct virtual meetings, ensuring all team members are well-informed and aligned with organizational goals.

Project Management:

  • Manage projects related to healthcare service delivery, ensuring timely execution and compliance with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Gaza Team on joint projects, fostering a unified approach to achieve common objectives.

Logistics and Supply Chain:

  • Oversee logistics and supply chain management, ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of medical supplies to the Egypt Country Office and Gaza Team.

Financial Management:

  • Work closely with the Finance Department to monitor budgets, control expenditures, and ensure financial sustainability for operations in both Egypt and Gaza.

Team Development:

  • Provide leadership and support to the Egypt Country Office team, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify professional development opportunities for team members.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

should have the following skills, education, and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the healthcare or non-profit sector.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different locations.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Egypt and Gaza is desirable.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
