Overview of position
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Task Manager.
Role objectives
-
Management of the assignment to track status of respective planned, initiated, ongoing and completed assessments.

Development of the assessment programmes to be completed during the assignment and provision of weekly update to the SHF.

Coordinating the review of assessment findings, partner feedback and signing of final narrative reports.

Organise and lead opening, briefing and closing meetings with the SHF and partner officials related ongoing or completed assessments.

Assist in the planning and implementation of the overall quality control and risk mitigation programmes of the assignment.

Assist in the resolution of technical issues and interpretation of contractual matters.
Project reporting
Reporting to the Project Manager
Key competencies
-
Master’s Degree in a finance related field with a minimum of seven years’ experience in conducting capacity/micro assessments or financial audits.

Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification is required.
-
Pervious experience in Somalia or similar complex emergency coordinating capacity/micro assessments or financial audits assignments.
-
Strong planning, communication and analytical competencies required.
-
Speaks and writes English fluently.
