
TAMPA MICROWAVE
We are seeking to fill an Operations Engineering Intern position(s) to support factory operations in our Manufacturing, Test and Quality departments located in our Clearwater, FL facility.
This position can report to the Test Manager, Quality Manager, or Lead Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsibilities (any or all below):
- Perform basic production area layout and assist in planning for manufacturing areas based upon equipment, individual, and workspace requirements.
- Assist in applying technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems.
- Assist in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams, charts, and statistical evaluation.
- Participate in the development of Work Instructions drafts to documentation standards and the review process.
- Assist in the setup and/or repair of various machines and equipment used in the assembly of electro-mechanical subassemblies.
- Testing (component, analog, digital, RF, Systems, WGS).
- Microwave Rf probing.
- Writing reports, reviews, presentations.
- Collaboration with other Engineers and/or Departments.
- GUI development efforts in Labview or other tools.
- Assist in performing receiving inspection and non-conformity reporting (NCR).
- Develop supplier receiving inspection plans, in-process inspection plans, and acceptance criteria based upon key process, product, and customer characteristics.
- Develop meaningful quality metrics in addition to FPY.
- Help maintain TM QMS including QMS SharePoint site, calibration, internal quality audits, and ISO audit finding/responses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an interest in manufacturing and quality assurance is required. Preferably a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Math, or Physics.
- Knowledge of Labview, Schematics, Inventor (Preferred), AutoCAD, and MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- 3.0 minimum GPA
- Fluent in the English language- written and oral.
