Helvetic Airways Operations Control Center (OCC) is the department that coordinates the daily flight operation. Short term planning, irregularity handling, support of on-time performance and problem solving are just a few keywords of the complex duties covered by the Operations Control Center.

Duties and Responsabilities

• Assisting the Operations Controller on duty
• Perform the initial assignment of the flights to the aircrafts for the next few days
• Liaise with the maintenance department, cockpit and cabin crews during the daily operation
• Reacting on short term sick calls and finding an appropriate crew substitute in a timely manner
• Process operational data and ensure all systems are updated accordingly
• Arrange single charter flights incl. coordination with airports, ground handling companies and other stakeholders
• Assuring all flights on the actual day have the correct number of crew members assigned, this includes liaising with the crew office, and that crews are timely informed about their duties on the actual day

Candidates must have

                  

• Fluently in English, excellent written and verbal communication
• Preferably able to speak and read in German
• Willingness to work at weekends and public holidays
• Communicative and likes to work with people
• Detail oriented, cooperative with “can do” attitude
• High degree of independence and commitment
• Excellent analytical, planning, organizing skills and fully computer literate (MS Office)
• Preferably previous experience within an airline environment
• Minimum age 18 years
