Anduril Industries

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

We are working on cutting edge complex systems that need to operate in the harshest of conditions. To support our development and deployments tasks we are building up an Operations Analysis team to guide business strategy and complement our Modeling and Simulation team. This new team will provide rigorous analytical products which will be used to guide product development and convince customers of our value advantage. You will be an operations analysis swiss-army knife who will support the operations analysis team in their analysis efforts.

What You’ll Do

  • Add to the arsenal of internal M&S tools to support analyses over all Anduril products
  • Standardize the OA workflow by developing tools, data flows, and workflows to streamline the process
  • Be on the bleeding edge of Anduril simulation – develop scenarios in Anduril’s own simulation tool AndurilSim, rigorously test AndurilSim for the OA use case, document requirements for the AndurilSim team, and define AndurilSim workflows
  • Support Anduril products through scenario development – perform physics-based trade-space analyses to drive platform requirements and create business development artifacts
  • Support Anduril Mission Autonomy through behavior development
  • Integrate reinforcement learning to support existing OA efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Graduate Degree or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Nominal proficiency with physics-math scripting of your choice (e.g. MATLAB, SIMULINK, Python+numpy, scipy)
  • Analytical experiment experience; for example, parameter sweeps and/or optimization experiments to find meaningful values
  • Signal processing experience; for example, track fusion and filtering techniques
  • Outstanding communication skills to include visual presentation of complex data
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

Anduril is an equal-opportunity employer, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. If you are someone passionate to work on problems that matter, we’d love to hear from you!
