Operational IT – Internship

The opportunity to work with the latest IT Technologies and deepen your knowledge of IT infrastructure. That is what you will get by doing an internship at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will develop by being responsible for improving an essential module in our service management software. But you are not alone in this journey. A passionate and knowledgeable supervisor will guide you through your internship to ensure you get the most out of this experience.

That is what you will use your talents for in the Operational IT Internship at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will improve the Asset Management module in Topdesk by validating and adapting data, relations with configuration items and secure procedures and actions with IT teams. Asset Management is the foundation of IT infrastructure. IT platforms, infrastructure, applications and systems are stored in this module. Therefore, the contents of this module need to be complete and up to date because this is where decisions within IT are made.

You also have the following tasks:

• Validate and adapt data within the Asset Management Module of Topdesk
• Ensure relationships with other IT Assets
• Secure procedures and actions with multiple IT teams
• Automate as much as possible to avoid manual actions that can lead to mistakes

By thinking out of the box and asking questions. And all will be well if your ability to get things done help us in bringing our IT infrastructure to a higher level day after day. In addition:

• You are at least a third or fourth-year MBO student in ICT (or similar)
• You are skilled with Microsoft (office) 365
• You have scripting (PowerShell) knowledge
• You are familiar with Configuration Management tool(s) Knowledge of TOPdesk is necessary
• You have good communication skills and the able to work across multidisciplinary teams
• You have an eye for the bigger picture and are able to connect the dots
• You have good mastery of English, both oral and written.
