About The Job

Reporting to the Executive Director, Operational Execellence, the Operational Excellence Department Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations within the department. Responsibilities include accurate data entry and management, administrative support, communication and correspondence, document management, and follow-up and task management. The Department Coordinator maintains databases, supports communications with funders, organizes departmental documents, and monitors deadlines. They also provide administrative assistance, facilitate effective document control, and track progress on tasks and projects. The Department Coordinator is adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to contribute to the overall success of the department and organization. The position may involve other diverse and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business administration, Management, Operations Management) or equivalent experience. Additional relevant certifications or training are a plus.
  • Solid understanding and experience in feminist, anti-oppression, and decolonization theory, and practice.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data entry, data management, and data analysis. Proficiency in Excel and/or other data and analysis software is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles or data management is preferred.
