Operations Volunteer

The Organization

The Opportunity:

The volunteer will be based in Amman and will support the Procurement unit in its daily operations to achieve in the broader organizational strategic objectives. This requires a motivated, flexible, problem-solving with excellent analytical, communication skills and the ability to priorities activities and work under tight deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in updating the procurement tracker in daily basis.
  • Identify new service providers to expand Plan’s suppliers pool, register them into SAP and update the vendors database.
  • Check quality of deliverables and ensure that procured items are delivered properly as per specification as well as contract agreement and deal with performance evaluation of vendors
  • Provide support to warehouse in stocktaking as and when required
  • Scan procurement documents
  • Do filing of various documents including tenders, reports and contracts
  • Support in preparing purchase orders, obtaining authorized signatures and forwarding procurement documents to the Finance Department for payment processing.
  • Assist in collecting invoices for vehicles fuel and generate speed report in monthly basis.
  • Work with the operations team members to complete duties as needed

External: Suppliers, Service providers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Fresh graduate from University in any discipline field

Volunteering Conditions:

Location: Amman – Jordan

Reports to: Operations Officer

Closing Date: 05 Oct 2022

Fees: daily allowance (Meal and transportation)
