Overview of position:

  • CTG is looking for qualified Ukrainian nationals for one of our projects in the country. Qualified national candidates with relevant experience matching the below TOR will be considered for this role.

Role objectives:

  • Make him / herself aware about Shelter / NFI programs, procedures & core humanitarian standards.
  • Participate in planning & executing activities of needs assessment, needs verification, registration, shelter & NFI kit distribution, CBI, shelter construction support & monitoring mission.
  • Identification of beneficiaries based on vulnerability criteria, developed by S / NFI cluster.
  • Ensure quality of response by following standard & procedures set by the cluster.
  • Develop activities reports including need assessment & verification report, distribution report once activity is completed.
  • Develop monthly progress reports, able to maintain track of program activities & ensure that each activity record is documented & updated.
  • Attend coordination meeting with cluster, partners, our clients departments & other relevant stakeholders on S / NFI related issues, when necessary & instructed by the supervisor.
  • Effective work in collaboration with other client related internal departments (core pipeline, logistic, procurement & travel unit) in executing activities.
  • Effectively work together with other cluster partners in executing emergency response activities.
  • Adhere to policies, core humanitarian standards & guidelines set up by our client.
  • Any other task not listed above when requested by the supervisors.

Project reporting:

  • This role will work under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, technical guidance of S / NFI Coordinator & direct supervision of S / NFI Operation Officer.

Key competencies:

  • Completion of Secondary Education from an accredited academic institution with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in emergencies particularly in S / NFI sector.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & email (Outlook).
  • Ability to travel to deep field location across Ukraine.
  • Good communication & social mobilization skills.
  • Fluency in English & Ukrainian is required.
  • Takes responsibility for action & manages constructive criticisms.
  • Works effectively well with client & stakeholders.
  • Promotes continuous learning for self & others.
  • Listens & communicates clearly, adapting delivery to the audience.
