The Senior Business Systems Analyst will deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. They can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes. Their focus will be on process design, process reengineering, business requirements, gap analysis, data flows and provide internal ticket triage support for the business.

Working under the Manager, IT PMO, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will work with their manager and leads to ensure the quality and timeliness of work.

You Are Great AtWorking closely with broad user groups to coordinate and complete Operational Excellence activities to support sponsored projects and enhancements by
Documenting and developing current state process flows
Determining and documenting business requirements for business processes and ensure they don’t conflict with the requirements for future projects
Preparing Gap Analysis
Documenting and developing future state process flows
Participating in the discussions of the functional spec & technical design
Developing comprehensive E2E test cases and steps that will be loaded into HPALM
Managing & triaging defects assigned during testing
Obtaining sign off from the business for go live
Preparing communications out to the business for the change impacts
Preparing user training documentation for new functionality if required
Documenting & coordinating the deployment plan
Holding regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress
Providing support to business users on systems issues, escalating to Manager, CoE or an IT development/technical team as appropriate.
Providing period end support to users as required, escalations, solutions.
Tracking and triaging tickets created for supported systems.
Experience with content management systems, “Front-end” web development (HTML/CSS/JS)
Using applications such as Web applications, API’s, SAP, ITSM, ServiceNow, HPALM, SQL.
Creating and building Operational Excellence Culture through inclusion, engagement, communication, and celebration
Using active listening and discussion skills to identify issues, ensure understanding and facilitate problem-solving
Matching different influence strategies and negotiating styles to fit the person or situation
Providing development opportunities and support to maximize Operational Excellence orientation across the organization
Collaborating with others to generate appropriate Operational Excellence deployment plan with organizational measures of success.
Acting as communication liaison between IT team and other pillars and functional areas.
Involving and coaching business leaders in preparing for and sustaining change
Being a change champion within the site and network by prompting questions and promoting team-based behavior

What You’ll Bring
3 – 5 years of professional/technical experience – prior experience in the web space including web development projects
BA certified or equivalent experience
IAAP-certifications: Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) / Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
Knows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business / accounting
Strong experience in user testing and project management
Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently
Proven project management skills. Ability to develop value-based business cases along with our business partner, document detailed process flows, and define gaps
Ability to write detailed business requirements to translate into functional design
Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in production support is an asset
A high standard for work ethic and quality is required
