Position Mission:

Implement a security system in the field under the global guidance of HIAS Security. Provide and guide in the achievement of measures to mitigate risks for the staff in the HIAS field. Be the main contact for any security situation that arises.

Principal functions:

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and manuals

• Implement delegated support functions according to the action plan.

• Prepare and develop status reports required by management.

• Promote and share ideas to improve security management both in the office and in field movements

• Provide recommendations to improve security procedures and plans

• Develop contingency, emergency and preparedness plans taking into account the security context and the threats in the areas where HIAS is present.

• Develop security risk assessments, security mitigation measures and update them according to context change.

• Facilitate security training and response to incidents and crisis situations.

Required Profile:

• Studies:

  • Studies at a higher or technical level in administrative careers

• Experience:

  • Minimum experience of 3 years in security management, ideal in a non-profit organization
  • Knowledge and experience in a high security risk area

• Knowledge:

  • MS Office (Word and Excel) intermediate or advanced level.
  • Intermediate English

• Competencies: Customer orientation (Internal), sense of order and organization both mental and documentary, effective communication (oral and written), analytical capacity, teamwork, work under pressure.
