What It’s About

Partners Group is looking for an Off-Cycle Infrastructure Investments Intern, with 1+ years of relevant previous work experience to join the Private Infrastructure Integrated team (based in London) for ideally 6 months over spring/ summer 2022, with a view to converting into a permanent role in 2022, subject to strong performance. With a key focus on non-control investments including co-investments, primaries and secondaries, the team targets opportunities across all Infrastructure sub-sectors. This spans Energy, Communications, Transportation, Utilities and Infrastructure Services.

Responsibilities

  • Work in teams of 3-4 people to screen, research and analyse a variety of investment opportunities and in a diverse set of industries
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of prospective co-investments, primaries and secondaries
  • Assist in creating financial models, including cash flow analysis and financial projections
  • Assist in transaction due diligence workstreams, including financial, commercial, legal, tax, etc and participate in management meetings
  • Support Infrastructure Investment Professionals in the preparation of investment memoranda for transaction recommendations to Partners Group’s Investment Committee
  • Perform various tasks related to investment monitoring, product reporting, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts

What We Expect

  • Outstanding academic credentials: the Internship is open to final year undergraduate and graduate level students, including MBAs PhDs. We accept candidates from any field of study, as long as they can demonstrate a genuine interest in private market investing
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience, ideally finance related but not essential
  • Solid understanding of financial statement analysis
  • Spoken and written fluency in English is mandatory and additional European language skills are advantageous
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to Partners Group’s high standards of business conduct
