• Overview:

PAC is an active NGO established in 2012, registered in Turkey, active in NWS, with other small operations offices in both Yemen and Sudan.

In NWS; PAC is a leading organization in both the health and Nutrition sectors through several central programs that work to improve the resilience of crisis-affected communities in NWS.

PAC’s programs always aimed to build and support the active health and nutrition systems in the target areas through maintaining a high level of integration across several sectors and leads central services to facilitate the provision of the service that other actors are running in NWS.

PAC is fully applying for the Protection against sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) principles in all its work stages, as well, PAC is highly committed to creating a safe service provision environment based on humanitarian principles, and international humanitarian law, clean of any racism. • Position: Nutrition Surveillance Enumerator

• REPORTS TO: Project Manager

• PLACE OF WORK: NW Syria

• LANGUAGE: Arabic.

• Position Overview:

Collect the necessary data to determine the nutritional status of the area.

Main Responsibility and main support required:

-Field visits as planned by the surveillance Program Management

-Selecting targeted Households in targeted areas.

-Commitment to the sample selection method

-Collect data on all anthropometric measurements of children under the age of 5 (length-weight- MUAC -edema) to analyze their results according to IYCF-CMAM.

-Collect other additional data according to the approved questionnaire.

-Commitment to infection prevention measures under covid-19

-Providing the necessary nutrition and health key messages.

-Referral of detected malnutrition cases to the nearest treatment center

-Keeping work equipment from damage

Qualifications:

• General high school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in nutrition and health.
• Two years of experience in humanitarian work.
• Experience in conducting surveys and Anthropometric measurements
• Training courses in related fields
