We re focused on our Bespineers as much as we are with our clients.What You ll Do, but not limited to:��� Should have experience in Understanding of RDBMS and different flavors of DBs (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), NoSQL��� Installation, configuration and upgrading of all types of DB software on different Operating Systems (Linux / Windows)��� Design, Create and maintain partitioned tables��� Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures��� Take care of the Database design and implementation��� Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)��� Perform database tuning and performance monitoring��� Perform application tuning and performance monitoring��� Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)��� Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams��� Patch Management and Version Control��� Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle.��� Monitor systems and platforms for availability; oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication, DR and fail-over.��� Maintain systems and platforms at 99% availability (outside of scheduled downtime), and ensure data integrity through performance of daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for monitoring of logs, space checks, audit reports and backups��� Identifying and resolving Fragmented Objects��� Analyzing and Validating indexes��� Rebuild indexes consulting application and customer teams��� Evaluate and resolve long running sessions��� Log Management: Listener and Alert��� Tablespace Improvement Recommendations��� Support on Client Data Migration Prod to Non-Prod��� Handshake with L1��� Evaluating Long running queries and suggesting optimizations short term and long terms��� Check the SQL query consuming lot of resources��� Check the CPU, Memory usage at O/s level define the threshold for the same��� Data guard Sync Check and troubleshooting if any issue occurs��� Apply database latest PSU patches or BUG Fix��� Database component validation and upgradation if required��� Parameter checking and modification if required.��� Reviewing points and taking appropriate action given by different auditors��� Performing data guard activities like switchover, switchback and Failover��� DBMS jobs status check��� Analyzing and tuning long running and resource consuming queries on production environment��� Check the overall database statistics Trend Analysis of objects with tablespace, last analyzed, no. of rows, growth in days & growth in KB.��� Log analysis of database and take appropriate action if there is any error or warning��� Checking flexibility of implementing new features of 12c in our environment��� Check the database size & compare it previous size to find the exact growth of the database��� Implementing best practices and standards for database environments��� Assisting in preparing administrative reports and taking major decisions related to the department��� Test all the recovery scenario of Database Backup��� Good knowledge into Cloud Best practicesWhat You’ll Bring��� Bachelor s Degree in information technology, Computer Science or relevant field��� Min 3/ 4 years experience as technical Support Engineer in DB and cloud/OnPrem role��� Advance production support exposure and experience.��� Knowledge of Project Management and Operation Management��� Maintains a high degree of technical readiness, in order to be successfully prepared to support the delivery of customer engagements using the latest technologies. Analyzing Risks, Gaps in existing environment and resolve them. Should have capability to influence others to achieve results��� Take responsibility of more than one customer��� Advance communication, troubleshooting and analytical skill.��� Good exposure to ticketing tools and understanding of Quality & ITIL process.��� Knowledge management & Escalation management for the team.��� Ability to execute service improvement plans related to Azure infrastructure.��� Expertise in creating Implementation guides, Standard Operating Procedure, known error records & knowledgebase articles��� Excellent problem-solving and communication skills��� Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal��� Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction��� Good service orientation, interpersonal effectiveness & client interaction skills.��� Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.��� Grooming of team members on various aspects of technology and client requirements.��� Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.��� English skills both written and spoken��� Arabic language is preferable��� Ability to work in shiftsWhat We ll Offer You��� Learn.
