The Opportunity

This is an exciting time at NetHope as the organization develops programs and services in collaboration with members and partners. Working with key industry leaders and partners, the Senior Leadership Team, staff across the organization and consultants, the Senior Partner Manager is positioned as a high-performing partnership manager for NetHope and our Impact Partners who are leading technology solutions and services companies. The Senior Manager will lead a team to ensure the professional management of large partner grants fulfilment including strategic program planning, budgeting, evaluation, resource management, scheduling, reporting, stakeholder engagement, deliverable management, and stakeholder coordination.

Senior Partner Manager

NetHope is seeking an experienced, organized, and enthusiastic professional to oversee and manage the development, design, and implementation of Impact Partner programs in collaboration with the Senior Director of the Center for the Digital Nonprofit. S/he will serve as a liaison between NetHope, our Impact Partners, and the NetHope Members. The Senior Partner Manager will have responsibility for overseeing the development of workplans, facilitating project oversight meetings, engaging project team members, creating grant required reports and ensuring that project milestones are met, outcomes are reached, and impact reported. S/he will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, grant program managers, and the communications team to ensure that projects are effectively planned, implemented, and communicated.

Specific responsibilities include:

The Senior Partner Manager serves as the liaison between NetHope and its Impact Partners. Their core priority is to align and address NetHope and Impact Partners’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships.

Overall

· Increase and maintain Impact Partners satisfaction for up to 10 NetHope Impact Partners representing a 3 to 5 million dollars annual portfolio

· Engage Impact Partners leaders to co-create programs and activities with NetHope leaders

· Align coalition of Impact Partners on shared agendas for action

· Integrate new Impact Partners into NetHope’s current program portfolio and partner ecosystem

· Manage the process of delivering Impact Partners projects

· Track reporting requirements and engage with program leaders to develop reports of output, outcomes, and impact

· Track and report key moments with Impact Partners, such as major brand/corporate event and people change

· Manage a small team of staff responsible for preparation and monitoring budgets and KPIs

Planning

· Prepare annual Impact Partners’ project/program plan for the year with NetHope program leads. Coordinate and integrate with Membership agenda and the work of the Center for the Digital Nonprofit

· Engage Impact Partners to agree on scope over time of their projects/programs and integrate these plans with other Partners

· Prepare an Impact Partners calendar for the year including Partners’ events, relationship meetings and reporting requirements

· Align Impact Partners and Member interests

· Review program and adapt design

Relationship Meetings

· Prepare content, identify participants, and schedule and manage regular calls with Impact Partners:

o Partner A: meetings every 2 weeks, decide on focus, themes, content, and presenters

o Partner Coalition: Monthly meetings, decide on focus, themes, content, and presenters

o Partners B-J: bi-weekly or monthly. Decide on focus, themes, content, and presenters. For prospect Impact Partners, schedule 1:1 meetings with key NetHope leaders.

· When potential is available, present opportunities to engage with the NetHope Members in group venues such as Regional Chapter meetings, thematic Working Groups, and the annual NetHope Global Summit.

· Communicate Global Summit sponsorship opportunities

· Build engagement plans for each Impact Partner to steward their journey in NetHope and develop relationships with Impact Partners prospects.

Reporting

· Prepare quarterly and annual performance reports for Impact Partners using inputs from program leads, MEAL data, and financial information.

· Partner A Quarterly Business Review: Quarterly assemble information from program leaders and finance. Agree on reporting template. Create and manage annual reporting through grant administrators.

· Partner B Quarterly Business Updates: Quarterly assemble information from program leaders and finance. Use current reporting template to create and manage annual reporting.

· Partners C-J prepare regular interim report and final annual report in collaboration with NetHope program leaders and coordinate with grant channels if needed.

Knowledge and Skills

· Knowledge of the humanitarian, development, and conservation nonprofits (crisis response including climate amplified crisis a plus)

· Knowledge of the functioning of corporate social responsibility programs

· Knowledge of the ecosystem of technology companies (top 10 tech companies and emerging unicorns a plus)

· Exceptional program management and relationship building skills

· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

· Experience delivering client-focused solutions to partners’ needs

· Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

· Demonstrated success in managing deliverables and connecting with stakeholders

· Experience developing reports and communication channels

· Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Multilingual verbal and written communication skills a plus

· Demonstrated competency to have influence without authority

Education and Experience

· Solid experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in an international nonprofit working in low-to-mid income countries

· Project management certification a plus

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent work experience

· NetHope Member experience highly valued, other NGO experience a plus

Reporting and Working Conditions:

· This position is a full-time position that reports to Senior Director of the Digital Nonprofit and works closely with Impact Partners and NetHope SLT.

· The Senior Partner Manager supervises the Relationship Coordinator and contractors.

· NetHope is a virtual organization, so our team, our Members, and our Partners are located around the world. Due to the global nature of the organization, meetings may thus be required at any time of the day to meet with our stakeholders in varying time zones. To meet these needs, NetHope embraces flexible schedules for team members, and we work with each other to be located globally, but still maintain a reasonable work time balance.
