The Opportunity
This is an exciting time at NetHope as the organization develops programs and services in collaboration with members and partners. Working with the team of staff and expert consultants, the Learning Design and Delivery Consultant will play a key part in researching, writing, developing, and implementing innovative training programs across a diverse range of topics, tailored to the specific needs of member organizations. This dynamic consultant will also support the implementation of a learning management system and work to optimize these tools.

Scope of Work
Project Scope:
The Learning Design and Delivery Consultant would work directly with both the Curriculum Development Manager and Training Manager to support the creation of all course materials to optimize the learner experience and streamline program administration including tracking and reporting. To support the professionalization of training offerings, NetHope is recruiting consultant(s) who can produce deliverables that ensure high-quality content that is readily available online.

Deliverables:

  • Course design including working closely with NetHope staff to understand the needs and scope of the project to develop effective and engaging, learning materials in alignment with adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Course production support to convert written curriculum into online learning content with varied modalities including gamification, e-learning courses, animations, video production and editing.
  • Course delivery and build in designated learning management system with integrated systems for tracking participant progress and completion. Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to enhance the accessibility and scalability of training initiatives.
  • Other general services may include:
  • Copywriting and copyediting
  • Learning experience and instructional design
  • Graphic design
  • Implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools
  • Asset production including but not limited to slide decks, handouts, graphics, and animations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems. Preference for those with experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Kaya Connect or Moodle.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional virtual teams and demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent work experience. Preference for degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications or other relevant field

Project Timeline:

  • Start: January 2024
  • End: June 30, 2024

  • NetHope is a virtual organization, so our team, our Members, and our Partners are located around the world. Due to the global nature of the organization, meetings may thus be required at any time of the day to meet with our stakeholders in varying time zones.
  • As a global organization, we welcome qualified consultant with diverse backgrounds from locations around the Globe.
  • The work will be performed in a 100% remote and virtual.
  • All contractors must pass an OFAC screening.
