National Project Officer

The National Project Officer is in charge of project implementation, leading and supporting NHQ project staff and volunteers in the delivery of PRC services based on the needs of the local target community with a focus on Disaster Management Services operations.

Project Management

  • Responsible for the overall implementation and monitoring of the project in accordance with the administrative and financial policies of the PRC, taking into account the collaborative interest of the donor and partners
  • Ensure that all project staff conduct their service and perform their duties in accordance with the standards
  • Provide overall direction and support necessary to the project team to allow them to carry out tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinate meetings for information dissemination and project review requirements.
  • Liaise with all key players including National Headquarters offices, and partner organizations during the implementation

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Ensure regular data collection and monitoring of project activities and progress
  • Ensure quality of data collected
  • Maintain M&E trackers (Indicator Tracking Table, Key Budget Drivers); analyze and aggregate findings
  • Record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible way
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results
  • Support project progress reporting and final evaluation
  • Assist in the development and/or finalization of the project Work Plan and keep it updated in accordance with project activities and timeframes as relevant
  • Identify lessons learned and develop case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project

Technical Support

  • Assist in preparing other relevant reports like monthly narrative reports and financial accruals report
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations
  • Support partners in conducting baseline, end line, KAP surveys, and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) surveys
  • Assist in designing and conducting Post Implementation Monitoring Survey (PIMS)
  • Assist in designing, organizing and conducting project evaluations
  • Assist in conducting project review

Others

  • Perform other tasks as required

Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in Project Management
