We are looking for a National Apprenticeship Lead to act as a champion in clinical and non-clinical apprenticeships within Health in Justice.

About You

This role will give you the ability to inspire and lead by supporting our apprentices with learning and development – which is an exciting role to play in our employees’ career development. You will offer guidance and support to apprentices on programme, new starters and senior leaders within the organisation, in order to ensure apprenticeships run smoothly and in a way that goes hand in hand with work undertaken for Practice Plus Group. As part of this role, the National Apprenticeship Lead will steer apprenticeship development and recruitment; being able to confidently plan and organise the growth of our apprenticeships internally, as well as providing support from an external perspective.

You will have proven experience of working with apprenticeships in an educational setting or large organisation and will have strong stakeholder management experience, having worked with senior leadership in a previous role. Knowledge of apprenticeships will be essential to include setting up programmes, monitoring progress and funding rules.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £32, 500 per annum – depending on experience plus car benefit. Practice Plus Group is a specialist provider of NHS services into prison healthcare across over 45 different prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres. The prison population is one of the most vulnerable and challenged patient groups in society and the delivery of their health care is conducted within often difficult and demanding environments.

This role will be full time, working 37.5 hours per week, based from home with occasional travel to meetings with the Training Team and with external providers.
