Typical day as a Multi Skilled Operative
– As multi skilled Operative, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approac h, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
– Multi skilling across various trades to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes. This includes repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments.
– Deliver ing high-quality and compliant work.
– Working in our properties across the North East ( this needs to be a co mmutable distance for you). All j obs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have
– Relevant building/construction qualification.
– Experienced of working across multiple building trades such as joinery, carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork, groundwork or basic plumbing.
– A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
– A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role.  This remains under regular review.

Job details
– Working Monday to Friday, you may be asked to take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis receiving an additional generous on call payment of up to £525 per full week. 
– Our office base is in Belmont, Durham and the wider team cover North East.
– You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
– You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and w e pay for that.
