Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) is a global organization responsible for producing and supplying medicines to markets around the world. With quality as its primary focus, this group collaborates with Research & Development and Commercial partners to deliver life-changing solutions for patients in need.
Reporting within the IMSC Finance organization, the finance manager will report to the Senior Finance Director for Manufacturing and Technical Operations (MTO). This role will collaborate extensively with the MTO Finance Leadership Team, the MTO Small Molecule Platform Leadership Team, and the IMSC Office of Strategy.
Key Responsibilities of the MTO Strategy Finance Manager include:
- Provide decision support for the MTO and Small Molecule Platform Leadership Teams, including regarding the prioritization of strategic investments, and Drive value-creating, innovative, and transformational solutions within Supply Chain.
- The individual will lead the Long-Range Financial Plan (LRFP) process for MTO and partner extensively to drive the overall IMSC LRFP.
- The individual will also drive strategic initiatives for MTO related to: mid-term GP and CF improvement, network analyses, and internal site expansions. Specific activities may include: serving on cross-functional teams; leading financial analyses; assessing relative competitiveness including vs benchmarks; developing strategic recommendations; creating presentation materials for senior leader reviews; performing risk assessments, etc
- A key part of the role is to provide financial guidance and counselling when developing investment business cases and constructively challenging business partners to improve financial outcomes
Qualifications:
Required
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 5 years of finance business experience
- Ability to analyze financial data and bring transparency to complex business issues
- Demonstrated strong performance providing financial leadership
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
Preferred
- A major in Accounting or Finance
- MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other advanced degree(s) or financial certification(s)

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 – $166,750
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
