MSF Sports Conditioning Intern

Plymouth Marjon University

Grade 2: £10.36 – £10.59 per hour + 12% holiday pay

Fixed term Contract: 03 October 2022 – 31 March 2023

Hours: Up to 10 hours a week (maximum of 200 hours in total)

This role will involve the organisation and coordination of a conditioning programme for our BUCS Sports teams, our Focus Sport programme and Sports Performance Scholars, to optimise their performance and reduce injury risk.

With support, the successful candidate will take the lead on developing, implementing, and evaluating a conditioning programme that is underpinned by current scientific evidence and practical based rationale. The successful candidate will relate theory to practice with adaptation, periodisation, peaking and tapering to positively impact on student athlete’s performance.

The successful candidate will be working with staff from the Sports Federation, and Sport & Health Science department to create a seamless support service to support our student athletes.

Where You’ll Work
