MPGS Merchant Integrator

Overview

Product Delivery (PD) function is part of Customer Delivery that is responsible for determining and assessing product delivery readiness in conjunction with Product and Engineering teams. PD leads the implementation of new and complex products/platforms and standardizes the process for future implementations that can scale. PD also acts as the knowledge expert on Mastercard Products and services during implementation projects and appropriately support internal and external customers.

This role as Merchant Integrator is responsible for managing Mastercard’s Gateway implementation for acquirers on our Acceptance product line including MPGS, Simplify Commerce and MiGs products and drives all aspects of merchant integration with the acquirer’s MSO (Merchant Service Organization) in Asia Pacific. It enables merchants to integration seamlessly on the product platforms to drive eCommerce transaction volumes. The merchant Integrator works closely with Project Implementation team and serves as subject matter expert for integration between the customers’ merchant environment and the Gateway platforms with APIs, Key management, merchant test strategy and necessary compliance.

Role

  • Responsible for providing subject matter expertise on technical integration with merchants for standard MPGS acquirer implementations
  • Conduct trainings for Acquirers on overall MPGS product focused on merchant on-boarding and tech integration. Trainings can be at customer’s premise or through online collaboration tools
  • Support first set of agreed merchant integration for MPGS acquirer. Support includes attending technical queries on APIs, working with merchant’s development team on integration steps, help resolve issues, responding to request/response message data elements and similar steps to enable end-to-end integration completion
  • Ensure Acquirer’s reach to adequate knowledge level to support their merchants integrate with MPGS for future business scalability

All About You

  • Excellent understanding of payment gateway, eCommerce ecosystem including acquiring business and merchant management, digital and API integrations
  • In-depth understanding and experience of API integrations, technical product integrations, troubleshooting techniques, knowhow on code/debug/scripting/testing, analysis through Splunk, Postman scripts, Web Scripting and Web Servers is essential
  • Knowledge of Mastercard’s MPGS, Simplify Commerce and MiGs products preferred
  • Knowledge of service integrations such as EMV3DS, Contactless & Card Present, Tap-on-Phone, Transit, Fraud Solutions with NuData or Brighterion products, Instalments on Gateways is a plus
  • Passionate for conducting customer workshops, product/tech trainings in-person or online, dealing with technical counterparts
  • Enthusiastic learner who keeps updated with industry trends, new technology, factors that impacts eCommerce business
  • Ability to identify issues early, proactively resolve them directly or through escalation to appropriate partners
  • Ability to work as a member of a matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team
  • Experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex technical and business information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to effectively deliver messages both verbally and in writing
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Travel may be required
