Mortgage Loan Processor

Savings Bank of Walpole is seeking a talented and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our lending team based out of our Marlboro street location in Keene, NH. The successful applicant will have strong organizational and effective time management skills in addition to the ability to meet critical deadlines while providing excellent customer service.

Salary Based On Level Of Experience

Mortgage Loan Processor, Level 1: $18.75 – $23.50

Mortgage Loan Processor, Level 2: $20.50 – $25.50

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting
• Six to twelve months of mortgage loan processing experience, preferably in a banking environment
• Other training on banking operations and loan processing, regulations preferred
• Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer experience with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for processing all mortgage loan applications from origination to closing
• Ensures application data is accurate, complete and meets secondary market guidelines and the bank’s loan policy requirements
• Manages pipeline of pending loan applications through origination to closing. Incumbent is expected to communicate with customers, lenders and third parties during the processing of each loan application
