New Dwelling Mortgage is looking for a full-time Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team! A Mortgage Loan Originator plays a key role in helping home buyers choose a loan and understand all the rates and terms associated. Loan originators must have a comprehensive knowledge of lending products, banking industry rules and regulations, and the required documentation for obtaining a loan.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Build long-lasting relationships with and provide an exceptional experience for clients.
- Consult with prospective clients to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, and advise clients on products and services.
- Recommend and outline terms of the loan and educate prospective clients on loan commitments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Market our company’s unique services to clients based on their needs and requirements.
- Research and stay up to date on market rates and trends to better consult clients.
- Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
What We Need From You
- NMLS License required
- Minimum one year of experience in loan origination as a loan officer, mortgage banker, or wholesale account executive
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and accountable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong desire to help build relationships with clients and partners
- Self-motivated and a positive attitude
- Background checks are required
