Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
- Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters
- Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
- Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
- Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
- Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
- Participate onsite at local trade shows for home builder, realtor, home improvement industries
- Set proper expectations with clients and referral partners.
- Ensure that all origination activities are in full compliance with state and federal lending laws
- Communicate clearly and frequently with the client and related third parties involved in the transaction.
- Attend required meetings and trainings at both the branch and corporate level.
- Conduct yourself as a positive ambassador for Castle & Cooke Mortgage, LLC in all communications and actions, internally and externally.
Competencies
- Must possess the following attributes: results oriented, problem solving/Analysis, time management, communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, and integrity.
- Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations
- Maintain an active license with NMLS
- Ability to run files through the proper AUS system depending on loan product.
- Excellent customer/interpersonal service skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive work environment to ensure strict time restrictions are met
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (BA preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year as a self-generating mortgage lending experience required.
