About The Role
Jump on board to our rapidly growing origination team located in Overland Park, KS. As a ZHL Loan Originator, we provide you leads on-demand, allowing you to focus more on your client and less on your marketing and branding. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Originate mortgage loans
Answer and manage incoming calls from customers
Provide exceptional customer service through timely follow up and courteous professional correspondence
Establish and build relationships with customers and applicable partners such as real estate agents, etc.
Analyze client’s need in order to ensure compliance and maximum customer satisfaction
Consult with borrowers from inquiry to close securing borrower financial/credit information, proper documentation and guiding loan progress through processing/closing
Obtain and validate required financial and credit data to qualify clients
Ensure successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training and Licensing activities
Understand and comply with requirements of applicable federal and state laws and regulations
Stay informed of current regulations
Maintain in-depth knowledge of available loan programs including FHA, VA, Conventional, ARM, Jumbo, etc.
Successfully structuring loans for fulfillment partners to underwrite, process & fund
Collaboration with team members and sharing best practices
Other duties as assigned
This role has been categorized as a Hybrid position. “Hybrid” employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 10 to 80 percent of their time each month, and the rest of the time they may work from a remote physical location of their choice within a reasonable commuting distance from the corporate office which must be identified to the Company in advance. The Recruiter and Hiring Manager will set expectations on the employee’s preferred time in office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.
In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
Active NMLS Loan Originator with multiple state licenses or a Loan Originator working under a bank license (we’ll help you get licensed) required.
2+ years of sales and customer service experience is highly preferred
1+ years of mortgage sales highly preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred
Financial/business background preferred
Proficient in MS products such as outlook, word, and excel
Passionate about client relationships; you like connecting with people and believe in changing people’s lives for the better
Confident working in a phone sales environment and effectively communicate over phone, email, text, etc.
Competitive, energetic, and positive attitude
A team player who thrives in a team environment
Possess excellent time management & organization skills, with the ability to multitask
Love consultative selling; refining recipe for success and helping customers
Flexible and adaptable; learns quickly, shares knowledge; and consistently looking to learn and improve
