Description of Duties

GENERAL

  • Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
  • Establishing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework to track performance and achieved results in IM unit.
  • Ensure that the project has a robust monitoring plan in addition to M&E guidelines, frameworks and indicator trackers for the project, in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Build required and customized indicators versus their targets that comply with donor requirements & iMMAP policies across the Ukraine program.
  • Develop protocols and methodologies for documenting projects’ activities, output, and outcome.
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of the product tracking system to identify project outputs, trendlines, and gaps.
  • Maintain the products tracking system and follow up with the staff to ensure that it is filled regularly and accurately.
  • Ensure that feedback, analysis, and accessibility of feedback data for programmatic decision making are all well documented.
  • Support documentation for knowledge management (KM), making sure that the staff have access to M&E knowledge for better projects design and implementation.

  • Reporting

  • Handle reporting on projects activities and expenditure as requested by the PM and according to project timeframes.

  • Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

  • Maintaining crucial project documents which tracks project progress and file all project documents in an appropriate database to ensure that all documents are accurate and have been accepted by the PM.

  • Project Implementation

  • Support various project proposals and concept notes with technical inputs.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Communications

  • Draft success stories and other communication material as requested by the PM.

Requirements

  • Education
  • Graduate of an Institute or University in the field of Information Technology, Information Management or Computer Sciences.
  • At least 5 years of working experience with GIS on-field operational level and in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience
  • Demonstrable skills in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation procedures.
  • Familiarity with daily staff management task in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Demonstrable skills implementing administration, procurement, HR policies and procedures in compliance with HQ and donor regulations.
  • Excellent command of Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent inter-personal and general communication skills;
  • Very good English, both spoken and written.
  • Soft skills
  • Ability to coordinate with local administrators, government, NGOs working with community projects and agencies involved in mine-action.
  • Ability to work under pressure and long hours at different locations.
  • Flexible and adaptable to any situation.
  • Self-reliant and able to work independently.
