Here’s where you come in:

As the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer, you will support the systematic collection and analysis of key monitoring and accountability data through routine monitoring, trends analysis and ongoing learning activities. You will lead the research-based baseline and end line survey to understand the effectiveness of Anticipatory Action approach compared to the traditional relief response, assist with the setup of M&E systems, humanitarian accountability mechanisms and quality assurance mechanisms for the project with required protocols and guidelines.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in Monitoring and Evaluation especially in emergency context and grant funded projects is critical.
  • Specific experience working on cash/voucher assistance programs highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale data collection activities (mix methodologies) from designing to report writing.
  • Thorough knowledge in writing technical MEAL reports is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge on the humanitarian operations coordination, cluster operations, and major donor M&E requirements is essentials
  • Communicates with integrity to different stakeholders (strong interpersonal skills)
  • Good contextual knowledge of local community and social/cultural constraints, realities and organizational relationships.
