Global Rights Compliance

Global Rights Compliance (GRC) is an international legal foundation focussed on bringing perpetrators to justice for atrocity crime. We have a presence in the Hague, London, Washington, and Kyiv.

GRC work in Ukraine in support of the Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG) through several GRC Mobile Justice Teams (MJTs) who assist the OPG by providing crime scene evidence collection and analysis and real-time advice on investigations and case building. Our headquarters for this project are in Kyiv, Ukraine. GRC’s MJTs operate throughout Ukraine in areas of interest to the OPG

We are looking for M&E specialist to support our programs in Ukraine

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop and implement systems for monitoring all projects being implemented by Global Rights Compliance’s Ukraine office;
  • Work with the project team to create operational procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities;
  • Collect, verify, and report M&E qualitative and quantitative data in compliance with donor requirements;
  • Create internal tracking systems to monitor progress on indicators and project implementation in an organized, secure, and user-friendly way;
  • Photograph and visually document the implementation of the projects;
  • Work closely with the project team document relevant success stories and communicate them to donors;
  • Produce project communications materials in collaboration with other project staff as required;
  • Write and edit monthly and quarterly narrative reports on time and as per various donor requirements.
  • Submit all required M&E data on time and as required by the project agreement and Global Rights Compliance’s Director of Monitoring and Evaluation;
  • Attend project activities and trainings to monitor them and collect quantitative and qualitative data from trainers and participants
  • Support the design and implementation of internal and external evaluations;
  • Respond to requests from the donor and HQ staff about M&E data, methodologies, and examples of project impact;
  • Any other related duties assigned by the project director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • University degree in communications, project management or political science or any equivalent
  • 3-4 years of experience working on donor-funded projects is highly desirable in the MERL field;
  • Familiarity and experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and production of reports;
  • Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies;
  • Strong visual skills: the ability to assist with preparation of charts and graphs in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Graphic design, video and photography and editing skills preferable
  • Experience in planning and managing surveys;
  • Demonstrated experience with training and capacity-building;
  • Excellent writing, analysis and editing skills in English and Ukrainian
  • Professional fluency in spoken English and Ukrainian is required;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and efficiently organize the workflow of a fast-paced team;
