Moldova: Project Assistant – Chisinau (national)

ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is an international NGO founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris. Its activities range from emergency relief to development projects. The unprecedented humanitarian disaster faced by the Ukrainians is taking a dramatic turn, with millions of people thrown on the roads. ACTED is fully mobilised in Moldova to support them and needs your help!

ACTED is looking for highly qualified national staff for Project Assistant positions. Project Assistants will report to the Project Officer.

Contract duration: 2 months, with potential renewal

Starting date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of the work plan and time schedules for implementing the activities;

Assist with the implementation of day to day activities with stakeholders in field ensuring that technical quality and standards are considered and respected during project(s) implementation;

Ensure activities are on time, target and budget, using effective M&E systems to reach desired impacts;

Contribute to the development of Procurement plans;

Send accurate and precise order forms in a timely manner;

Cultivate good relations with key humanitarian actors – local and international, including government authorities and non-state actors, through regular attendance at technical meetings and bilateral meetings;

Ensure that at all times contact with beneficiaries is conducted in a sensitive and respectful manner.
