Graduate Student Program Overview

  • 12 week summer internship program for advanced degree students in Master’s or PhD programs. This program will provide students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

We are looking for an exceptional HR OPERATIONS INTERN who can… Work closely with our Global HR Operations team on reviewing Workday ways of working and mapping business process procedures. Find and help implement process improvement opportunities amongst our HR functions (Human Capital Management, Learning, Talent/Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Time Tracking, Absence). Learn about key HR Operations initiatives and gain exposure to MKS’ Global HR functions.
  • Participate in merger and acquisition related integration efforts
  • Review and document Workday business processes
  • Find opportunities for process improvements and road map path to implementation
  • Participate in Workday enhancement/Scrum calls
  • Gain exposure shadowing Global HR Operations and Global Payroll on daily activities What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:
  • Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD Degree program for business administration; expected graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) proficiency
  • Interest in Human Resource Operations and Human Resource Information System administration
  • Experience with process mapping, process improvements, basic level data analysis (Excel formulas/Pivot Tables)
